Hello! I’m Tuesday Lucas, LPC.
If you’re on the front lines, you know that the average therapist doesn't always understand the weight of the gear or the culture of the job. My practice is dedicated exclusively to those who serve: Police, Fire, Paramedics, EMS, Corrections, and Probation.
My Roots
I don’t just work with first responders; I come from this world. I am an Active Duty Veteran, and I come from a long line of law enforcement officers and veterans. My heart is with the public servant, through and through. I understand the unspoken codes, the unique stressors, and the reality of the "long shift" because I’ve lived it.
How We Work
When you’re navigating cumulative trauma, life transitions, or that feeling of being "stuck," you need tools that actually work. I utilize specialized, deep-processing modalities that help you reset without needing a million words to get there:
Brainspotting & EMDR (Targeting where trauma is stored in the brain)
Ketamine-Assisted Therapy (KAT)
IFS, ACT, and CBT
Real Talk (And I Mean Real)
Having a knowledgeable therapist is great, but in this field, trust is everything. You’re looking for someone who "gets it"—someone who can handle the truth of your day-to-day without blinking.
Fair warning: I am informal, and I tend to curse. I believe therapy works best when we drop the formalities and speak the same language. My clients tell me I keep it real, I always validate the unique BS you deal with, and I stay focused on what is clinically effective for the tactical life. If you’re looking for a therapeutic relationship built on mutual respect and shared understanding, let's talk.
Compass Rose Counseling Services is located inside Suite 106, we share an office with Help and Hope Counseling.

Anxiety and depression can feel overwhelming, affecting every aspect of your life and well-being. Therapy offers a supportive space to explore and understand these feelings, providing tools to manage symptoms and improve your quality of life. Through therapeutic techniques like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness, you can develop coping strategies, gain insight into the root causes of your distress, and work towards a more balanced and fulfilling life. Therapy can empower you to regain control, fostering resilience and hope for the future.
Trauma and PTSD can leave lasting scars, affecting your emotional and physical well-being. Therapy, especially Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), can be highly effective in managing and alleviating these symptoms. EMDR helps reprocess traumatic memories, reducing their emotional impact and allowing for healthier coping mechanisms. By working through trauma in a safe and supportive therapeutic environment, you can begin to heal, regain control over your life, and move forward with greater resilience and peace.
Therapy can be a powerful tool for improving self-esteem and confidence. Through therapeutic interventions, you can uncover and challenge negative self-beliefs, develop a more positive self-image, and build healthier, more supportive thought patterns. By fostering self-awareness and practicing self-compassion, therapy helps you gain confidence in your abilities and embrace your worth. This journey toward self-acceptance empowers you to face life's challenges with greater resilience and assurance.
